Nine One One

I produced a rap song about Dance Dance Revolution and In The Groove, writing lyrics, creating the instrumental, and collaborating with my friend dimo on his guest verse.

Inspired by Hyphy music from the SF Bay Area and the Disconnected song series by Kyle Ward, the song features a boastful tone where dimo and I brag about being really good at DDR. The chorus and title refer to the events of 2020: it became clear that help might not always be coming, and sometimes you need to step up and do it yourself.
